First Blog Post! Welcome!

Prompted by recent events in my personal life (a severe tragedy of a relationship that is now more than final) as well as the Rihanna and Chris Brown domestic violence drama, I have decided that it is a wonderful time for me to take a break from men.

As a young woman who is trying her best to establish herself in life, I've felt for a pretty long time that if sent the right man I would be ready to walk down the aisle. Having started dating since I was 15, and currently being 22, I've seen and heard it all. At this point I'm utterly disgusted. From liars, mama's boys, incestious families, baby mama drama, living with your mama, no ambition having men..... I'm worn out...can't take it anymore.

I refuse to settle for crap just to have someone hold me and tell me I'm pretty every now and then. So instead I'm taking a step of faith and falling back.In the meantime I plan to assess the damage of these relationships and really digest my main issues with men. In the process I'd like to hear from you.

As women sometimes we don't have all the answers, but just need to vent. This is your outlet. We can discuss each other's gripes with men and attempt to get to the bottom of their nonsense.So....I'm here and I'm listening..send me your "situation" and questions and we will give you all the feedback you need.

Find a man that does not abuse you physically is a lot easier than finding a man that does not cheat. That is next to impossible. However, look hard and long, they are out there. Do not settle. Living without a man is a lot better than living with abuse.

Your situation could not have been worse than mines. Ive grown and learned through the years and its made me stronger. Ive had my share of bad men so i can relate. But I also had to take a long hard look at myself and realized I wasnt the easiest woman to be with either. I guess its give adn take ya know
