2 adults also arrested; police spokesman says further arrests expected
Investigators say up to 20 people were involved in or stood and watched the assault
Victim was released from a hospital Wednesday, four days after the attack
Richmond, California (CNN) -- Police investigating the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl have arrested five people, a police spokesman said Wednesday.

Three juveniles and two adults are in custody in the rape on Saturday, said the Richmond police spokesman, Lt. Mark Gagan. The three juveniles will be charged as adults, he said.

Gagan said the suspects will face several felony charges in the incident, including "rape in concert," and that the suspects would all face the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

Gagan also said the victim was released from a hospital Wednesday, four days after the attack.

Authorities have described the incident as a two-and-a-half-hour assault that occurred on the Richmond High School campus, in the Richmond community north of Oakland on San Francisco Bay.

Gagan said police arrested three of the suspects Tuesday night. They included Salvador Rodriguez, 21, as well as a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old whose identities were not released because they are juveniles, he said.

A 19-year-old, Manuel Ortega, and an unidentified 15-year-old were arrested earlier, he said.

This story disturbed me, so I'm sharing it. I'm telling ya'll it is important that we educate both young men and women....they're not learning the right things and they're becoming , heartless, insensitive, careless, irresponsible MONSTERS! Teach our youth right from wrong...sensible from foolish...; they're losing their way......If you have a brother, sister, cousin, friend...anyone who is younger than you, teach them to love and most importantly RESPECT one another....it's so important to our future generations. My prayers are with this young girl and even the young men who did this to her because they're going to need alot of help to become better individuals. They got a long way to go...Read More

Racism Still Alive They Just Be Concealing It.........

Chicago Club Denies Entry To Students Because Of Race
POLITICS

» by MICHAEL ICEBLUE HARRIS October 26, 2009, 10:12am

Mother's, a popular night club in Chicago, appears to be reinstating Jim Crow laws as they recently barred entry to six African-American patrons. The six students were part of a senior class trip of 200 students from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and had made plans to visit the establishment. Upon trying to entering the venue, the Black students were denied entry and were told it was because their pants were too baggy.

Not believing the hype, a white student switched pants with one of his classmates and tried the entry process again. Lo and behold, the white student was still allowed in while the Black student was left outside.

The students have filed complaints with the Chicago Human Rights Commission, the Illinois Attorney General and the U.S. Department of Justice.

The management of Mother's has stated that there is an internal investigation but racism was not the cause. Their concern was reportedly safety issues.

Yeah right.

These are the stories that motivate me to study for hours on this LSAT, go to law school, become a lawyer and..change the ignorant minds of some.....Yes you are one person , but you can make a difference.

Random Quote of the Day...

I despise when a person says, "I love you" and their actions do not reciprocate their words. Next man I am with, I am going to enforce a rule, NEVER tell me you love me, it means nothing, SHOW ME!- Lydia Cotton
